Clinical Therapeutic Massage integrates classic and cutting-edge therapeutic techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cranialsacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point, Pre- and Post-natal massage, and Sports Massage. A consultation before your massage sessions provides the opportunity to tell us your present goals and needs and to learn from the therapist how he might best address them. Throughout each session, the client is full draped except for the part of the body being massaged. A Chair Massage is an option for those with difficulty to lie down on a massage table.

Therapeutic Massage Modalities
Your therapeutic massage will be custom-tailored to suit your needs. This may include combining elements from the Relaxation Massage and the Clinical Therapeutic Massage to respond to your individual concerns, health issues, and goals. The primary modalities I employ during my therapy sessions include:
-
Deep Tissue Massage
The deep tissue massage is relaxing and therapeutic at the same time. It applies deeper pressure along with trigger point therapy and may be combined with Swedish Massage. Deep tissue work is frequently used to treat pain in specific areas, but it also greatly enhances full-body massages.
-
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points are small knots in the muscles and are often a source of soft tissue pain. I identify your trigger points and apply appropriate pressure at these locations in ways that dissolve knots and offer pain relief.
-
Cranial Sacral Therapy
A non-invasive, light touch modality that offers relief throughout the body by releasing restrictions on your cranialsacral system. The therapy maximizes the body’s own capacities towards realignment of tissue and self-healing. The client lies on the table clothed during this treatment.
-
Myofascial Release
A firm but gentler technique than deep tissue and trigger point that softens, elongates, and realigns the superficial and deeper layers of fascial tissue wrapping our muscles and restricting their normal, pain-free function.
-
Pregnancy Massage/Post-Natal Massage
Whether you’re a mom-to-be or you recently gave birth to your child, my specialized pregnancy and post-pregnancy massages help to relieve the physical and other pregnancy-related stresses on your body. I utilize a variety of effective semi-reclining and sidelying techniques during your second and third trimesters that will address your unique condition. Postnatal helps to tone and accelerate return to your pre-pregnancy condition.
